The Bionic Blowout
Aired on the Sci-Fi channel in late 1995 over four nights, Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner hosted four two-part episodes of the Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. In order they were The Secret of Bigfoot, Fembots in Las Vegas, Dark Side of the Moon, and The Bionic Dog.
Although I really enjoyed watching these hosted episodes when they aired, I still feel like I would have preferred something more substantial. Lee and Lindsay had very little time on screen, and the time they do have adds very little to the episodes. It would have been great to have a little bit more trivia directly related to the episodes aired. Not to mention that at least in the case of Dark Side of the Moon, there were better episodes that could have been chosen. Secret of Bigfoot works fine, but the other 3 choices were questionable at best. What about Death Probe? What about Return of Bigfoot featuring both shows? What about Deadly Ringer? Hell, what about Kill Oscar? Give me a 3 hour block and show me the best crossover the two shows did. Anyway, enough whining. It's great to see these clips no matter what the episodes were. And the banter back and forth is fun to listen to. Enjoy.
